It is a one-stop location for all breast symptoms and conditions as well as endocrine and general surgical conditions. We have additional sites for consultations and operations at St Andrews Hospital and Calvary Central Districts Hospital.

Breast, Endocrine and General Surgery
Dr Christine Lai is a General Surgeon with subspecialty training in the fields of Breast & Endocrine Surgery. She is a graduate of The University of Adelaide and was awarded Fellowship in General Surgery in 2005. She undertook further training in Breast & Endocrine Surgery between 2005- 2007 at The Queen Elizabeth Hospital and The St George Hospital, Sydney.
She is an elected Councillor on the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons and on the Cancer Australia steering group for the revision of guidelines for the management of early breast cancer. She is also a Visiting Medical Surgeon at BreastScreen SA.

Dr David Walsh is a General Surgeon with subspecialty training in the fields of Breast & Endocrine Surgery. He is a graduate of the University of Adelaide and was awarded Fellowship in General Surgery in 1995. He is the Head of the Central Adelaide Local Health Network Breast Endocrine Surgical Unit and Senior Lecturer in The University of Adelaide’s Department of Surgery.

Dr. Tiong graduated from The University of Adelaide in 2004 and subsequently trained in General Surgery in South Australia. During that time he completed a Masters in Surgery. He obtained his Fellowship in General Surgery with the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons in 2013, after which he undertook a 1-year fellowship at the Royal Adelaide Hospital Trauma Surgery Unit in 2014.
Further training in Dr. Tiong’s subspecialty interest of Breast and Endocrine Surgery was undertaken with Fellowships at The Queen Elizabeth Hospital Adelaide, Mater Hospital Brisbane and Liverpool Hospital Sydney between 2015-2017. During that time he was also trained in oncoplastic breast surgery techniques and head and neck surgery.
